May 2010

The garden becomes even more colourful this month with herbs, flowers, trees and shrubs in shades of pink, blue, purple, yellow, white and every shade of green foliage.  Many flowers are quite stunning, notably the flowers of the Bogbean and Aquilegia.  Even the more troublesome “weeds”, such as dandelion, goosegrass and nettles have attractive flowers or foliage.  They just need controlling so they don’t take over!
